This work is part of the i am not a mass product... series. i am not a mass product… skins through the thin veneer of reality and taps into the subconscious of mind. It presents ordinary objects constructed by cellulose tapes, in skewed or distorted perspectives. They may be objects filled with memories, of great personal significance or random items. Each weaves its own narrative with the different individual who comes in contact with it. Each loses its reality as it lies on a precarious border between the recognised, remembered and the forgotten. Objects are physical evidence of our existence.
