Established in 1995, LindArt Lendava is a non-profit making organisation. Taking place each July it is an artist-led initiative which strives to provide a meeting point for artists working in “traditional” visual disciplines (painting, fine print, sculpture). It brings together up to 12 artists of all nationalities for 10 days to work, exchange dialogue and experiment in a way that is mutually beneficial.This year from 10th to 20th of July 2008, Shih Yun Yeo will be one of the 12 artists taking part in this collaborative experiment.

Stockartist Room is pleased to announce the exhibition How dare you…? in Berlin from the 6th to the 27th of June this year. The Inauguration will be held on June 6th at 20:00, and will display artworks of 16 artists from 8 different countries(including instinc's resident artist SHIH YUN, YEO from Singapore).
“How dare you..?” interprets the ‘scream’ as an impetuous reaction and as a reaction against a forbidden action. This is the intention and the goal of the artists that propose artworks based on the Stockartist model, and to break the paradigm that holds the art market; in order to make it turn back and respond by this sentence of daring when it feels like someone or something is touching or slapping its forbidden parts, intruding into its vital space.

Resident Artist Yeo Shih Yun will be going to bains:connective for two months in July to Aug 2008 for her first overseas residency. Exhibition will be 4-6 Sept. Supported by NAC & bains:connective. The multidisciplinary laboratory is located in the ancient swimmingpool of Vorst|Forest, in Brussels.

Noise Singapore 2007 Festival Showcase @ The Heeren Shops. Showcasing Photography and Art & Design works by Noise Singapore 2007 artists. Instinc's resident artist, Chan Mei Hsien is one of the nine artists selected for the wall painting project.
