Real-time GPS and photographic colour data were collected as part of the Random Sampling Singapore project with Bettina Schleier. Colour palettes were created from the photographs originating from microscopic shots of wild flowers with a purple hue and a grasshopper. The GPS data was then mapped and transformed into colourful abstract motifs, taking viewers on a metaphysical journey that visualises the route, as well as the intangible elements of space and the natural and urban environment.
