Theme: Time

Size : any envelope size, postcard or even  parcel.

Work must be on the outside of the envelope or parcel, the stamps/ frank marks are all part of the ‘piece'.

Technique: Free, any media can be used, no rules!

Closing Submission: 4 NOV 2008

No rejects, no returns, as usual.

Participating artists will be credited and will receive a list of the participants, their country of origin and photographs of the exhibition via email.

Your participation will be greatly appreciated as this will be the first mailart exhibition in Singapore .  Please forward to as many friends as possible.

BAG IT Singaporeans love shopping, and nowhere is their passion more evident than on Orchard Road, our nation’s Mecca for consumerism. Instinc pays homage to its new District 10 location with Bag It, an exhibition dedicated to anything and everything to do with shopping.


1. Medium of works: Bags of any form, from ziplock bags to last season’s discarded handbag.Works can be inpired by bags, either 2D or 3D.

2. Size: No restriction.

3. Date of submission: 28 January 2006(Bring your works to 23 emerald hill road from 12pm-8pm)

4. Exhibition runs from 3 February to 17 February 2006. Opening 3 Feb 2005, Fri 7-9pm

We welcome all participants. A participating fee of $20 applies. The fee includes publicity for the exhibition and e-invites sent out to instinc’s database, rental of space, as well as cost of opening reception. Instinc will be taking 20% commission from any sale of works.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: BOTTOMS UP

Instinc is having a show titled “Bottoms Up” 1 April to 27 April. (Opening reception on 1 Apr, Sat 7-9pm ). It’s a show inspired by beer, cocktails, wines, and any other kinds of drinks (alcoholic or otherwise!). The gallery will only be taking a 30% commission from any works sold in this show. You are free to submit up to 2 works, in any size/medium. This invite is strictly by invitation only. However, if u r very keen to join this exhibition, pls email to projects@instinc.com with yr data (name, valid email and hp #) short bio and a brief proposal of what u want to do for this exhibition and email it by 21 march 2006.
