what does red mean to you? it could be blood, love, passion, anger.. different feelings.
under the red explores how feelings could be hidden or expressed but not in its true form. the exhibition showcases 3 series of work by italian artist Camilla Giachetta & singaporean artist Audrey Yang, one of which is a dialogue between the minds of these two artists expressed in the form of sewing on the same piece of fabric.

Camilla Giachetta

Camilla is currently staying her Masters Degree in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA, New Academy of Fine Arts, in Milan. In 2015, she received her Bachelor of art (Fine Art) major in painting at the Accademia di belle arti in Genoa. During those years she had the opportunity to study Munich at the Akademie den bindenden Künste.

Her work is based on an introspective study of herself through a continuous observation of daily routine. She uses obsession and memory, even personal, as starting point of a journey through images and sounds which aim at an almost realistic set-up and also a possible sharing. She works with different media such as videos, performances, painting, sound and installations
